The female line of Master Archie traces to the mare Spits, whose legacy endures through her daughters Judith (Royal Affair) and Martha (Noble Chieftain). There are similarities in the pedigrees of several highclass performers descending from the sisters.
Martha’s branch is best known through Dance Every Dance (Northern Guest), daughter Akinfeet (Fort Wood) and next generation’s Capetown Noir (Western Winter) and Anything Goes (Var).

In She’s A Giver, the grandam of Philanthropist and Var’s dam Loma Preata are close kin. The elements of the kinship make for a strong kin-link to the mare Renounce, dam of National Assembly. The latter is damsire of Master Archie’s sire Rafeef, and also sire of Soft Falling Rain (who got Master Archie’s stakes placed half brother Purple Cloud).

On the sire-side, Rafeef is kinbred 2x2 Danehill x National Assembly (and from there 4x3 Spring Adieu x Renounce).
