Pedigree
The best female lines invariably have a significant bottom-female line ancestor (SigAnc), whose pedigree elements make her (and her female line descendants) close kin to a wide variety of ‘significant others’. In Heavenly Blue’s female line such a SigAnc exists, his 4th dam Pilferer, who is close kin to Roberto and Buckpasser, to the 2nd dams of Theatrical and El Prado, and to Reason To Earn and Fair Charmer from Seattle Slew. Pilferer’s daughter Savannah Slew (by Seattle Slew) is very close kin to AP Indy, also leading to Al Mufti (Roberto x Buckpasser) who is half brother to AP Indy’s dam. Pilferer’s dam Will Hail is close kin to Roberto, and is half sister to Tom Gate (by Buckpasser’s sire Tom Fool). Tom Gate (who rated 102 at 2 in UK) left a legacy in SA through daughters and granddaughters, notably Princess Daisy. Tom Fool makes for kin breeding in Will Hail, through his dam Gaga (who in turn links to Tom Fool’s sire Menow). Tom Fool is 2nd damsire of El Prado (damsire of Heavenly Blue). There is a strong presence of Hail To Reason in the dam of Heavenly Blue.
