This is also the female line of Nijinsky, sire of Dancing Show (3rd dam of Talk Of The Town, and grandaughter of Best In Show). Nijinsky’s 4th dam and the grandam of Best In Show are very close kin. The female line has a strong presence of descendants of the mare La Troienne, who is notable in several of Var’s best runners. In modern pedigrees La Troienne is often found in her male descendant Buckpasser and his close female relatives, in combination with each other.
Talk Of The Town’s pedigree shows a notable similarity to the one of Var’s champion son Variety Club.
